Thanks Government.
Because of your shitty “stimulus” plan, my employer is taking an extra $50 out of every one of my paychecks for healthcare coverage, in addition to what they were already taking out before.

I crave wonton soup.  Often.  Sometimes way before the time that it’s reasonable to actually consume it.  Like now.  At 10:20 a.m.  I am wonton-soup obsessed.

Pumas update....
So apparently those awesome kicks I posted are limited edition and about $1000 a pair.  C’est la vie.  Anyone want to buy me a pair of super pricey discolicious gold sneakers?

Watch it Shred! →
rhodyram: It is strangely soothing to watch some of this machinery get shredded. Give it a whirl. Wow, this is my new favorite thing.  The fridge crumples like a piece of paper!  The couch is pretty great as well.

NYTimes: Stand-up Desks Newest School Fad →
I would’ve loved to be able to stand up all day in elementary school. I’m sure it’s great for learning and concentration, but the article doesn’t address preparing students for situations where they’ll have no choice but to sit and concentrate. It’ll be interesting to see how far the trend goes…

Obviously, I don’t share their aversion. It shouldn’t be overdone, but using coordinating conjunctions this way can provide a handy and very efficient transition. “But” is certainly preferable in many cases to the...
